Theresa Thomas, OCDS
Theresa Thomas, O.C.D.S. was born in Vallejo, California, and baptized as an infant, she has lived in California, Alabama, and Germany.
She has a bachelor’s degree in the practice of art from UC Berkeley and a law degree from the University of San Francisco.
Definitively professed in 1997, Theresa has served her community as director of formation and now as president.
She also served as coordinator for the OCDS provincial task force on formation, which developed our province’s OCDS formation guidelines.
She and her husband George Haley make their home in Berkeley, California, with their longhaired dachshund Lalou.
After Carmel, Theresa’s current interests focus on calligraphy, rosary making, and recently, woodcarving. She hopes to learn to ride a motor scooter soon.
